Marseille, France is for sure famous for it’s port, known as the Vieux Port, and for the clear blue Sea. I’m a regular visitor to France, especially to Marseille, know the area almost by heart and am nowadays looking at things / places to share with other visitors some places where they should / should not go to while holidaying in this city.

Good Italian Pizza In Marseille France

In France, one can find quite a number of good restaurants but it’s not easy to find a good Italian one, especially one that offers a typical Italian Pizza. I’m sure you would say “Why should I look for an Italian Pizza in France?” and it’s true but there are a number of people that do that, I’m one of them!
When I’m abroad, I always look at trying out new typical local food but sometimes I do feel like having something normal, something that I can enjoy, starting from the 1st bite till the last ….. and so I did last time I was in Marseille. Restaurants To Go To Not To Go To In Lourdes

Here’s again some info about my latest trip to Lourdes but this time I’m going to focus more on the restaurants! Restaurants there’s as many as one would wish but, as everywhere, there’s the good and the bad ones. The bad ones are mainly cause of their service! I happened to try quite some but the worse one was Brasserie L’Ermitage, situated just few meters from the side entrance of the main pilgrimage area, it was absolutely disgusted!!!. Is It Worth Going To Lourdes
Lourdes, one of the “want to go” places for every catholic / christian person! But is it really worth going to Lourdes? Based on what is said, it’s the place where, in 1858, the Virgin Mary appeared to the 3 children. Some also point out that, on that same year, the Virgin Mary appeared a number of other times!
A number of companies, and even individuals, do organise pilgrimages throughout the whole year but, honestly, are the people still feeling this is some kind of a sacred place? I just came from there a couple of days ago Read the rest of this entry »
Restaurants In Marseille On The Beach

Been to Marseille lately and, after numerous times having meals and desserts at the Equinox Restuarant, I decided to try another one. I don’t usually like to change but this time I did. The main reason why I decided to do so was cause the last crepes I had was somehow disappointing. Compared to other times, it came relatively quick, base was cold and the ice-cream was already ¼ melted. Don’t want to try to guess why this happened but, for sure, they will not see me as much as they used to!
